Parents are our vital "life line" in supporting the Shallowater Education Foundation (SEF). We're often asked for a quick list of ways to help, and there are many great ideas. Let's look at the ones that top the list:

1. Financial Contributions:
   • Make regular financial contributions to the Foundation. Even small, recurring donations add up over time.
   • Encourage other parents, friends, and family members to donate to the foundation.
2. Attend Fundraising Events:
   • Attend and actively participate in fundraising events organized by SEF, such as golf events, galas and our other events throughout the year. 
   • Volunteer to help plan and execute these events.
3. Corporate Matching Gifts:
   • If you know any companies (perhaps your employer or some you do business with) about interest in a company or corporate matching gift. Many companies match employee donations to charitable organizations, including school foundations.
4. In-Kind Donations:
   • Contribute in-kind donations, such as supplies, equipment, or services, through the Foundation for specific school projects.
5. Advocacy:
   • Advocate for the school foundation's mission and initiatives within the school community and among local businesses and organizations and anyone you feel would be interested.
6. Promote Fundraising Campaigns:
   • Utilize your social networks, including social media, to promote fundraising campaigns and encourage others to get involved. Helping spread the word is always a golden way to help!
7. Volunteer Your Time:
   • Offer your time and skills as a volunteer for foundation activities, from assisting with administrative tasks to helping with outreach efforts.
8. Educate Yourself:
   • Learn about the specific needs and goals of the Foundation so you can better support their initiatives and communicate their importance to others.
9. Join the Foundation Board:
   • Consider becoming a board member of the SEF. Your time, skills, and passion will help guide its strategic direction.

We all understand that the level of involvement you may be able to devote can vary widely depending on your time, resources, and personal circumstances. it's always good to remember that every contribution, whether big or small, always makes a difference in helping the Foundation achieve its goals and enhance the educational experience for our children.
